When you go there do you get to adopt a dog u like or do you have to fill out papers and get a background check or something?or do you just fill out paperwork and you get the dog?and are the dogs free?do u have to pay?

The process is fast. You pick a dog or cat you like and fill out a one sheet form. They will then contact two people you refer and ask them a few questions about your experiences with pets. That's it. You then give what you can for donations.
