Attorney general of Florida
When you signed the purchase agreement the dealer should have given you the lemon law booklet. You can go to the dealer and tell them under law they are obligated to repair the vehicle or offer a comparable vehicle. The vehicle has to be non functional for 30 calendar days (out of service), or 3 attempts have been made to repair the vehicle. Coverage is for 24 months. This is for new vehicles. Look on the Florida law sight regarding used cars if not new. Florida Lemon Law (681.101 – 681.109) Can also get a lawyer.
