They have ghost tours that are for kids his age that won't get scared. I have been taking my daughter there since she was 2 years old and she hasn't gotten scared at all on any tour.
I found absolutely nothing scary at all about the tours, not even the ghost stories. What a big let down. It's just too commercialized. A good tourist gimmick.
The tours aren't particularly scary but the stories told by your guide may be to a child that age.
I went and it was mor gory than scary but that will depend on your guide. You can ask your guide to tone it down and make it more appropriate for kids I'm sure.
