Why only member not other people

Hello. I am new to this ashram, as I've only visited 2x, both times were quick visits w/friends just to familiarize ourselves w/this hidden gem in Jamaica Estates. I can only recommend you go there to see and make friends w/Bhandu-ji, he is the teacher who lives there and helped explain to us the history of the ashram. You can do all you mentioned in your question, as they have a devoted ashram schedule, but you may also go on your own time to meditate and pray...take a trip out there and I promise you won't be sorry. Enjoy.

Internally, everyone at the Ashram does spiritual practices in line with their own individual innate tendencies. We do not do formal puja. We have meditation sessions in the meditation hall 3 times daily. Please check our website for the scheduled timings. www.arunachala.org
