You have to go to the church's rectory and tell them u need a copy of his baptize certificate.
We moved to Long Island in 1994, but my husband and I finally found our sons baptism certificate in one of the chest that was hidden in the attic. I gave it to my two grown sons to take it with them. I made sure that I made a few copies just in case. Thank you all for answering my question...Have a blessed day.
Call the rectory. St Peter's parish was merged with St Paul's, so St Paul's should have the baptismal record for your son.
If you still live in or close to NY, it's best to go there during business hours or better yet come for Sunday morning service. Someone is there to speak to you directly during those hours. There's an entrance on Congress St that looks like it could be the Rectory. Other than that you may need to Google them to see if there's a listed phone number, email, or website.
