I'm a guide, and rain tours are my favorite tours to lead! Not only does the rain drops activate the water, but it keeps the bugs away as well! Still bring your bug spray in case rain stops! Always good to have!
We believe that you can still enjoy this experience in a light rain. When it rains we can see the entire lagoon lit up with Bioluminescence from the individual raindrops hitting the water at the same time, a very special and rare experience for us as Florida is known for nasty thunderstorms!
