I agree with Alex about the holiday season. You can put items on layaway then but only for a short time. You cannot put clearance items on layaway as they are clearance items. I believe each Walmart is different when it comes to Layaway and clearance items so I would probably call the store and make sure about the layaways. I hope that this has been helpful.
I have tried in the past putting clothes that are in clearance on layaway at Walmart and it's never happened and they don't do it because it's clearance
Layaway is only open for the Holuday Season...cal store to verfy. As far as clearance goods its up to the individual store as i have two stores one mile from me in opposite directions and one does and the other not...
