You can always drop your car off BEFORE the due time and date. They will adjust the difference. Just make sure the tank is full so you don't pay the price for them to fill it up.

Hope it all worked out but you normally can always drop a rental car early, especially at an airport that's 24hrs. As mentioned in some replies, call them and also bring it back full unless you opted in for the option where they will fill it up (which is an option I always suggest you pass on), and there's no fine print stating there's an early return fee (which is extremely rare).

I've never had an issue, they have folks working 24/7 at every airport I've utilized, just check your receipt indicates the adjustment with perhaps a pro-rated fee.
