You were always sold out of "cheddar cheese poppers" so I asked the manager if they could keep more in stock. a few weeks later they no longer were for sale? I would think you would want to sell items that are that popular that there always sold out

I've never seen Publix do anything like this. Usually, you can ask for an item that isn't even on the shelf, and they bring it in. Of course, that was before the pandemic. Many policies have been changed since then. I read many grocery stores are carrying less brands so they can keep lots more inventory of fewer items.

Unfortunately right now there are so many shortages on so many things. Maybe they can no longer get them.
