I adopted what I thought was a 1 year old Boston Terrier mix (she is a Staffordshire Terrier), but found out by my Veterinarian she is only about 7 months old, soon to be 8 months old. I am disabled, and cannot handle a puppy. Need a home for her.

It isn't always easy for rescues that get all kinds of dogs in everyday to know the full and exact history of every pet. I suppose they just do their best. Obviously, they'd have no reason to tell us anything that would cause a bad experience. They want what's best for us and our new best friend. ♡ Did you contact them before advertising that you needed a new home for the dog? I sure hope so.
