if you want to get a good spot in the pit, how early should you start lining up outside the venue?

Of course, it all depends on the band (and the openers). If the openers are well-known and have a big fanbase, get there at least 40 minutes before the start. If the headliner is who everyone is really coming to see. Get there 30 minutes before the headliner goes on and you can probably get a great pit spot fairly easily.

the sooner the better. i was sitting right behind in the seats and I had a clear view its a little crammed. there is secuirty too one for the lower level and then the pit. early bird gets the worm. enjoy -Jackie G
