Hi, we purchased a guitar for my daughter's guitar class. She is having trouble with certain notes and chords. It appears that the strings are too far from the neck. She can play on other guitars but not her own. Is there a fix to this?

That is either a truss rod adjustment or the bride needs some attention. The term is the "action" is the distance between the neck and the strings

Guitars can usually be "setup" to play for different climate and typically can go out of adjustment. Tuning, string height, intonation, sharp frets, and wood shrinkage are typical factors in this area. Bring the guitar to Dorsey Music and they will help you with it.
