maybe you're getting bad customer service because you can't tell the difference between a statement and a question..
I have been standing in front of customer service for 20 minutes while they BS with each other.when one employee did bother to answer the phone, she stood there, in front of customers who were waiting and made faces at the person on the phone. I left and will not be back. It's a shame you can't hire people with a work ethic much less common sense. God forbid, someone with basic manners!
That is a pretty sad question, Lowe's and Home Depot are the same neither one of them have good qualified people to help you unless you have all day to wait for somebody that does know what they're talking about, homeowners that do not know what they are doing should research before they go shopping, because more than likely you will not get the help that you need, I had a home improvement business for 30 years I know what I'm talking about. good luck and happy shopping, Thanks
