I would ask the cruise line you are traveling with if they have a shuttle from the airport to the cruise terminal. I would ask my travel agent to arrange it if I didn't book directly with the cruise line. That way, you can walk right off the plane, into the shuttle and go directly to the ship. All plans made in advance. They will also arrange for the shuttle to be waiting for you when you return to take you back to the airport or to your hotel if you are staying in San Diego for a little while.
In San Diego Uber or Lyft are good. There is a particular area to wait at the airport. Or taxi. The bus will drop you by Amtrak Santa Fe depot, a few blocks away but if you have much luggage this is not optimal.
I looked up Yellow Cab, entered our pickup n dropoff, and got no results for charges from the Sheraton. I found it confusing in SD to find a ride to the cruise terminal. What we did was find a hotel w/ free airport pickup. The morning of the cruise, the bell capitan 'told me not a problem' they could drop us off on an airport run, this did not happen, BUT a yellow cab, not Yellow Cab was trolling the hotel, for $15 + $5 tip, n a 5 minute trip, a very cordial driver took us to the cruise terminal n baggage drop.
There's also a sky train that you could take from YVR to waterfront station.
Yes there is . You pick it up outside . It's easy
Uber lyft. We used. They work the best and get you close to the terminal
I've used uber and taxi. Taxi ran about $6 more than uber. If you want the shuttle it runs about $20 per person and you book it through the cruise line or your travel agent. Shuttles are cruise specific. Taxi and uber do not charge per person.
I would recommend using Lyft.
