Definitely a one man shop. Even though he hires assistants, he insists on serving the ice cream himself. Nice personal touch (he likes the interaction), but it creates a very long line out the door. And I don't think he trusts anyone else to run the shop. Thus, the random closures.
The owner opens the shop at random times. I normally find the shop open around 10 pm on weekends. No idea when he opens the shop.
I can be sure but I think the owner has been ill and unable to run the place. If it is open it is hit or miss.
