Can I call and get put on the waiting list? What about a woman and her daughter? Can they get in faster or get put at the top of the list due to the fact that she has a little girl and just lost her place?

You have to find the homeless task forceand they will write you a referral to come here and have a safe place to stay for you and your little girl. There is no waiting list or calling to reservea spot. Just dial #211 and they will tell you where to go to meet with the task force.

The answer is the task force. Your first step is to dial 211. They regulate all movements with people being homeless. They will do their best to find you a location. Patience is a virtue.

You have to go through the Task force to get in to the program.
