The beach is a mangrove Canal it is not open directly to the Bay. If you had a kayak or canoe you could fish The Mangrove Shore and it would probably be good and it's not that far out to the Bay either if you have some type of watercraft. The far shore line looks like it would hold Snook
From the village park grounds, no fishing is permitted
Some people fish but it's not a big place. You can wade out or bring a small boat. I only saw a couple of people fishing. Don't know what type of fish. Enjoy!
