Good afternoon. How do I prepare a power of attorney with effect in Ecuador from Florida? Should I use an American notary public to draw up a power of attorney and then apostille it? Or do I just take the signed text to the consulate to make it official?

So to get a power of attorney it costs $ 30? And another question I need to bring the letter ready for the stamps or at the Ecuadorian consul 🇪🇨 do they prepare everything with the information of the citizens?

I do not know, I recommend that you communicate directly with the Consulate by Internet or by Telf, they give them the information

You must carry a pen drive with the text of the power of attorney in word format. At the Consulate they transcribe it and sign it there carrying their passport. Cost $ 30 cash only
