Can I get onto the beach with electric disability scooter? Can the hard pack be accesses. Soft sand will not work, I'll get stuck.

There is a sand scooter rental company that delivers to Cocoa Beach area. Can rent for one day or more. A little pricey according to website. Have not personally used.

I have seen wheel chairs with wide air filled tires suitable for softer sand. Possibly someone rents them? Call parks and recreation, maybe they know of a solution.

They really should make something though would love to bring my mom out there but it's not easy to get a wheel chair in sand

Darryl Horne | Sep 21, 2018

Too soft, you will get stuck

Nicky Williams | Sep 21, 2018

Sorry. Soft sand.

Alethea Thomas | Sep 21, 2018

You can see the beach from where the soft sand begins but there are no hard packed areas to get to the waters edge

Paola Castillo | Sep 21, 2018

There are ramps you can use. Maybe you can bring some friends to help you out if you get stuck. Have fun! The water is beautiful.

David Illig | Sep 21, 2018

No wheelchair ramp to the beach is available

Dale French | Sep 21, 2018
