I just ate a chocolate cake from my local Jack in the Box and it tasted funny. About a third of the cake tasted maybe soapy. I didn't finish it. I was wondering if there have been any other complaints?

Not that I know of. Everything I've had there has been very good except the service has been a little slow

Never eat sweets from any fast food joints. Never ever ever.

Call the number in the receipt or go in and ask to speak with a manager
