Always go to the ER immediately after a wreck. Especially if it's the other person's fault. I know at one time that you only had 24 hours after the wreck to get treatment. A lot of times injuries don't show up until days, weeks or months later. It can be hard to prove that said injuries were caused from the incident after the 24 hours. Especially if it's been a month.
