Spooky, we don't just charge cards when you fall a little behind. We call several times as well we send emails. If we don't get a response we will re use a card that has been used in the past. There is nothing illegal about this. You can ask for the card to be removed from future payments.
If you signed your contract, read the fine print. If it spells out that they will charge it and why, then you are in agreement. If it doesnt say anything about charging your card then you have a legal claim. Whenever you use a credit card for payment all companies store it unless you tell them not to.
