How do I found out if this place is open September 1st want to go camping on my birthday and thought this place would be a good spot? And does anyone know how much it cost to stay a night or two?

Its a PG&E reservoir. You can access the available sites (and reserve them) through the PG&E website. You must book at least 2 nights at a time on the site and 5 days in advance. However you can show up and grab any open site whenever you like without booking in advance. Therebis almost always a site open this latenin the season amd the camp Host usually has the reserved tags out promptly. The cost per night is $23. But the day use area is free if you arent staying overnight.
