I heard on news that you can only get help if you are already receiving food stamps. Is this true? What about those that aren’t in the program but need emergency food?

If you do not already recieve food stamps, you are not eligible to recieve emergency food stamps YET, they are waiting for FEMA toapprove elibility for non-food stamp personnel.
