About 30 minutes. Get there early though so you can try to get your racing suit. The class I was in, they ran out of size XL, so I had to squeeze in to a Large.
Got there about an hour early just to get suit (have my own helmet), watch others do their thing, watch how the instruction went and what the pit crew does, sign paperwork, and generally get pumped up. Was excellent!
