My husband and I were married for 24 years when my husband passed away. I have since remarried and turned 61 yrs old. I was recently told that I could draw his Social Security now, even though I have remarried. Is this a fact? Thank you in advance.

Im not sure you can but the best answer would be to talk to SSA. Because if its anything like the VA then no wives can not receive the Veteran’s benefits if they remarried but the children can.

You can draw on his claim because of how long you were married. Being re married will not affect it, but SSA will need to know that you are remarried. You may not be able to claim until 62 (or age 50 if verified disabled).
