Do they report to the credit bureaus? No. Rasta- There’s nothing fishy about Benchmark AT all! They provide quality vehicles and EXCEPTIONAL customer service. There’s something there for every budget. The down payments are achievable and they are UPFRONT and HONEST about their prices and fees. They sit down and go over everything with you before you sign and drive! They also make good on their warranties and trade up programs. I have bought 4 vehicles total from them and I have never had an issue with anything. They are legit and perfect for someone who may not be able to secure traditional financing or come up with an enormous amount of money for a down payment! After 13 months, you have the option to trade in your vehicle for a different one, and they pay half of the down payment on vehicles with down payments up to $2500. I highly recommend them for anyone that needs a vehicle but can’t qualify for a traditional loan or pay a ridiculous amount of money down! They are legit!
No, we do not report to credit bureaus for our in-house financed vehicles. Not reporting to the bureaus allows us the ability to maintain greater flexibility with our in-house programs, which allows us to better serve our customers. For example, if your circumstances change and you need to let the vehicle go you can do so with us and it won't damage your credit. If you use traditional sources for financing, your payment history will be reported to the bureaus. We are partnered with multiple outside lenders and happy to arrange financing for you through traditional sources if you prefer.
Seems fishy, I wouldn't recommend financing a vehicle from a buy here pay here place. They will add unexpected charges and you will end up paying triple the cost of the actual vehicle. Buyer Beware
