You can bring your dog! It’s great mental and physical exercise for your pup and air conditioned! Don’t mind the grumps :) I always get stopped at Home Depot by people who want to oh and ahh over our dogs and it always brings a smile to MOST people!
I often bring my dog with me to Home Depot. Shes small and well behaved. Home Depot employees and the large majority of shoppers enjoy my furbaby.
My question is, if you KNOW you are going to a hardware store, WHY, bring your dog? Don't leave the dog in your car, leave your dog at home. Unless OF COURSE your dog is a service dog.
I take my dog most visits and many customers enjoy her company. I’ve never been repudiated.
No
A lot of people are highly allergic to dogs. So unless it’s a service dog leave them at home. It’s there policy and only allow service dogs. Just having one in the general area of someone that has allergies and asthma will set off an asthma attack and for some people it won’t be good. Know matter how cute you think your dog is leave them at home.
Ive seen people bring in small dog and they sit in the buggy like small kids
Yes it is....Lowe's as well.
Really... it is more about the dog in question. Anywhere that does NOT serve food, does not fall under the same "health code guidelines" as say, a restaurant. Although, personally, I believe if your dog is well mannered, not jumping up on customers or barking at everyone... I don't think there would be a problem. But I would just walk in with him/her and go off shopping. I wouldn't stop at the front desk. Leashes OF COURSE!
Service dogs are fine. Leave your pets at home where they belong. I'm a dog lover and owner but dogs do not belong with you whereever you are going. The only dogs that should be taken anywhere and allowed everywhere are service dogs.
Never leave your pets and children in a car.
Service dogs yes.
If its a service dog, then yes
