I've never heard of that, ink hurts but then your endorphins kick in, and it's just the hum and the rhythm. If you're afraid of needles, or have a low tolerance for pain, it could be a good idea. But check with your intended artist first, they're the experts! You will never find a better, more caring and talented staff than they have at Angel Tattoo. They recommend that you use a numbing solution & wrap in plastic wrap at lease one hour prior to your getting inked.
