Can I take a large suitcase (probably 28") on the bus from the airport and the trolly to the beach? LeeTran said the suitcase would have to fit in front of me, but could not say how much room there would be in front of me.

Pretty sure as long as you can get it on the bus yourself you'll be fine, I've seen people get on with huge beach bags and chairs.
