We called corporate and after 2 hours of hassle they put us in a room next door (courtyard by Marriott). The price here was 50% more for a night. We are still not sure if they will charge us that extra or not. So, Marriott at corporate level was not much helpful either. We are glad at least we had a place to stay but we may have to pay 50% more.

No that never happened there. However, it did in Vegas at another place and I called corporate. They put me up in a suite after that (it was all they had available :)). I Would call corporate too.

I would suggest calling the corporate customer service. We have stayed there often and never had a problem.
