They have a children's course available for smaller/younger children and you are always tethered in the harness so you will not fall.
My 9 y.o. son was able to do the first three legs, and he was approximately 4' 5". It is based on height since the upper ropes need to be within reach, or it could be risky for them. Highly recommend you go, but check out the sight so you are not disappointed (they strictly enforce the height requirements, which is for safety). Hope it helps, have fun.
