There are no sharks in the park. 😳
There is an old US Navy test (I was USAF; its what I heard) to determine the presence of sharks in a body of water, the seas or oceans. This is unclassified currently. Step about two or three feet (less is okay) into the water, cupping both hands, dip and taste the water. If the water is salty, there are sharks.
Depends on the time of year. Even then mostly nurse sharks and "Dogfish" (which is a small shark). Very rare to see or hear about a hammerhead or Great White. The media is good about notifying people if one is spotted and there is big surfing community, so in 20 years at the beach I've never been caught off gaurd. Also, almost never see them during busy hours mostly just sunrise and sunset.
No
I didnt see not 1 shark. I was there about 3 weeks.
No, rarely ever find teeth.
Well, I have never seen one! And I'm comfortable going into the water up to about my chest. I never go at dusk or night. Before the sun is all the way down I get out, and will only walk up to my ankles after that.
Haven't seen any when I'm there
I didn't see any
I don't think sharks are any more of a problem than other oceanic spot...they are known to roam all over the globe. If you are unaware, that is a person on a dolphin...not a shark.
Nope
