I live across the street from lakes park in a very affordable quite community off of old gladiolus drive. Yes it's safe and quite and there are a few communities off of this road that would make a wonderful place to retire. It's close to the beach and near lots of shops and lakes park itself is beautiful I go every weekend with my husband.
Don't retire in Florida. You can't get a lot more bang for your buck elsewhere.
Lakes Park is exactly that: a public park. There are no residencies within the park but there are very nice neighborhoods surrounding it. It's definitely a safe place to retire, but affordability is completely subjective. My parents live behind Lakes Park, but only because they we're very fortunate financially throughout their lifetime
You can't retire at lakes park. You can have a retirement party there and yes it is affordable. As far as Florida goes though... The motto is "land of the newly weds and the nearly deads" choose wisely. I hear AZ is comparable. 😂
Yes
Seems to be. Florida has some wild elements. But overall yes.
