Never have heard anything like that. I buy the chicken tenderloins best deal around. Corned beef..chuck roast and few other meats, never had a problem. I was skeptical at one time too. But aldis is by far my first stop for anything I need, if I try something from there and dont like it I dont buy it again. But aldis is by far my go to for most groceries! Love it
