I purchased a new 2015 Altima in March 2016. I have a 3 year warranty. I need to know when the warranty begins. I have been told that my car is out of warranty because the warranty begins when it leaves the factory and not when sold.

Warranty begins on date of purchase. It runs for how long or how many miles stated in the paperwork.

Warranty starts from date of purchase.

Ms. O | Sep 19, 2018

It is from date of purchase as long as it was new or 36000 mileage whichever comes first. Nissan has extended warranties you may qualify for.

Thomas it starts when the car is sold. Call your local Nissan Dealer and they can look it up based on your VIN.
