Dropping a trailer and leaving it in the parking unattended, not only is rude, unprofessional, but if you're a company driver, it's called abandonment of load.
If you go inside and talk to the manager they will print you out a receipt for your trailer im up here once a week and not had an issue at all you show respect they will work with you
Oh that was you they did that too, I seen the white tow truck hooking up, I figured the owner called him to do so, I was parked right across from them. Maybe you let them know first, or tape the receipt and a note to the trailer explaining why you unhooked, But I believe that we shouldn't have to tell them anything because we paid for the spot, and at other truck stop I've seen many unhooked trailers that never get towed .
You are not allowed to drop your trailer at any time.
