My boyfriend and I went to carmax and left with a new Chevy Traverse S.u.v. We put nothing down and he has 2 reposessions and his credit is shot.. We pay 350.00 a month, but for nothing down and no trade in,with his credit is a good payment for us. They also have good waranties and are on top of any thing that needs to be done with my vehicle. I wanted new struts in the front and new headlight covers and they had both in and finished the next day..I know Everyone is different in what they prefer, but I would highly recomend Carmax in my own opinion..
You tell them how much you can or will put down, they will run ur credit thru 7 different lenders or so. Then they will tell you those lender's terms. Sometimes you need to give them references, proof of income. But you can't go wrong buying a Carmax used car. They go thru those cars with a fine tooth comb. They even check out ur car ur gonna trade thoroughly.
I used an actual new car dealership.. they actually were cheaper on actually new car, less mileage and a 7year bumper to bumper warranty..
It depends on price of vehicle, debt ratio, etc. You can tell them zero down and they will run, then can add more. They have a bunch of lenders they work with! Give them a try.
