Yes, Torrance shut down like two years ago.
Whenever I visit their I've always found them open. You do however have to enter from the back parking lot you cannot enter on the western side you have to go around to the back parking lot and doors are usually open.

I'm not sure how you tried to enter but the entrance is in the parking lot in the back
