I think that time of day is the problem. No grocery store is quick during the evening rush.

I had never been to any Mariano's till last week. Loved the place. The lines didn't seem exceptionally long. They have so many good food products there. I have been to other places similar, Walmarts,Sams club,Costco ,but Mariano's was more spacious. I also loved their buffet tables. They don't have a Mariano's in the little town I live in so,I will be going to one whenever I visit in Chicago.
Lines are bad, but not as bad as South Loop Marianos.
Because of the inexperienced of there cashiers not been taught right!!
People love shopping there now its a great hang out place need more check out line people

The lines are never long when I'm in the store at early afternoon. Never in store during rush hour.
