I am Cuban, but I became an American citizen because I reside permanently in Miami. My question is. I can become a Spanish citizen, keeping in mind that I am an island granddaughter, since my grandfather was born in Las Palmas, Spain. Thank you.

Well, being an American citizen does not influence ... my advice is to go to the consulate but I understand that the time to get Spanish nationality by the grandparents has already expired but there they can inform you if in your particular case you could do it in another way. I hope you have clarified your doubt.
