PATH is a non-profit organization that runs off federal and state subsidies to provide a pathway to housing for the homeless. They do not collect money from the residents like other organizations here in Santa Barbara.

Applied for a position as case manager. The Male manager there was dismissive and rude even though I have many credits at college for counseling, psychology & dual diagnosis. I have friends in the military with PTSD I believed I could help. They are taking in Vets likely to have PTSD. I'm older his whole crew are younger women. I believe he didn't even look at my resume. I'd been in senior care 30 years

They actually use that money they collect for program fees to pay the security deposit or first and last months rent on a place. Also for any of the welcome home packets they give.
