No lilac bushes smell because they do not have noses. Just sayin'
The bloomerang lilac is billed as a "re-blooming lilac" however the fragrance of the bloomerang is not as prominent as traditional lilacs. We have had mixed results with it actually re-blooming as it is advertised.
