I keep seeing comments about it being very dimly lit and was wonder why they do that. I have small flashlight on my key chain to use for the menu but why must we not see the food we are eating?

This is a crazy thread! The food is amazing! The atmosphere is a relaxing atmosphere. I got engaged here and it was the perfect setting. I can see my food just fine and while I prefer my steak cooked medium you could eat it rare here! It is that good!

Yes it is dim. I thought my cut of meat wasn't worth the hype. Maybe they were having an off day.

It was a long time ago for me that I ate there, and it was dark and my eyesight was way better. The food was very good the atmosphere was kinda romantic, and great martinis. They burnned down last fall, but are expected to open back up in April. Take a chance a make sure to take your little flashlight.
