If you're unable to obtain tickets (usually reserved for VIP's, NASA/SpaceX employees and family) Some choice viewing spots are: Any restaurant at Port Canaveral; Shiloh's Restaurant in Titusville; Or the Max Brewer Bridge and adjoining beach off Garden Street in Titusville

Yeah you need a ticket for entry to designated launch watching area.

Tickets are needed to get on base. Although you can see the launches from anywhere within a 15-mile radius.
