I'm not sure but in my opinion yes I dont see why not as long as you use slugs I use a 12 gauge . I looked it up and its definitely a yes slugs or buckshot 10 gauge or smaller meaning a 4-10 can be used which is ironic because the first deer I killed was with a 4-10 when I was 13 years old
