Usually 17 is ok for domestic travel. Call the airline before you buy the ticket to make sure.

You are still considered a minor so they escort you on and off the plane to be safe I believe

I believe 17 is an adult but check the specific airline policies. You can travel unaccompanied starting at 12 I believe
