You need to take a Covid test 3 days before you leave your home state and show it was negative. Then you need to take a Covid test 3 days after you get here. If negative, you need to take another one 4 days after that. If negative again, you don't need to quarantine the full 14 days. Basically it would be 7 days total after getting here with the tests stated above. This goes for any state flying into NY.
