What type of covid test do I need to check in for an international flight? The city test sites are no longer offering rapid test results as they are overwhelmed. 2-3 days is now the waiting time so one can't get a test within 24 hours of boarding

There are two rapid test centers at JFK, one in Terminal 1 departure, and the other in Terminal 4 arrival. These give test reports in an hour or so.

You should research the requirements for entry of the country you are visiting. Most will accept the PCR. Travelling these days is no fun but if you must life goes on. Good luck and safe travel.

Generally it's within 72 hours prior to your flight. Have a look at your airlines website to know the exact rule and accordingly proceed.

Most international airlines asking for PCR not the rapid or antigen test. Try to go to Patient First. They provided it in 3 days. Last option, is to come to airport and make a rapid test at the airport costing almost 240$ and catch your flight. It taken less than half hour to get the result. Overall, traveling is now insulting at the time of Pandemic. Good luck and have a pleasant flight.

It depends on the country you are visiting. You should try to look for help in your airline's website
