how do I get to jfk from Penn station Newark NJ

I think if I'm not miss taken you have to take the A train all the way to the airport

Path train to NY Pennsylvania station, long island railroad to Jamaica station then AirTran to JFK.

Amtrak or NJ Transit to Penn Station in NY. Then any LIRR train to Jamaica. From there you take the train to JFK
